"CJ, can you tell me why the Obama administration, after claiming they'll talk with Iran without any pre-conditions, has pursued a policy that states a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable?"

Obama said that very thing in last nights debate....

CJ,
There are some important geopolitical implications. But Israel getting nuked isn't one of them.
First of all, Iran is obviously trying to get the bomb. Secondly, Iran also says that Israel should be wiped off the map. Furthermore, Iran is already waging a proxy war against Israel through Hezbollah.

I think it's obvious. Israel getting nuked IS an "important geopolitical implication." And of course Israelis themselves believe it, or else they wouldn't take such pre-emptive and unilateral steps for their own protection.
