It was my understanding that JMAR had been funded to attatch a collimator to there source this year, and that this would help to get the power up to a level worthy of production.

Regarding DARPA funding:

When I spoke with Mr. Martinez today he wasn't hopeful about more funding after this. He said that the intentions of DARPA funding was to get the technology to a point where the private sector could take over. He feels as though it has been acomplished, especially with the IBM news.
