Oh come on Koan, Krugman was the intellectual father of the housing crisis. He advocated this disastrous policy which is and was the main cause of our economic problems. You can assert that lower taxes were the problem but you cannot make an argument for this concept. I know that is not in accord with the Dem talking points, so I have probably just confused you.

Agreed on your points about Obama's advisers. However, I think you underestimate Romney. He didn't get to be a successful businessman by being stupid. And you may not remember, but Obama didn't know much about foreign policy either. I think Obama's had some of the right instincts on foreign policy, but I'd still give him a B/B+. I think he failed in Benghazi and I think he failed with Putin. But he's done ok otherwise. Truth be told, I think I mostly give Hillary the credit for Obama's foreign policy. Hillary is the most traveled SecState in decades. She's been a workhorse for Obama and she gets no credit.

Romney will find his bearings, if he gets to office. The challenger never has as much information as the incumbent on foreign policy. That's significant disadvantage.
