Romney has no mental image of a comprehensive realistic philosophy, foreign policy or social science because he doesn't care. Can you imagine Romney reading Camus or to Kill a Mockingbird out of curiosity? Me neither. And certainly not Saul Alinsky who was actually quite brilliant. I know tons of successful business folks who are really ignorant about the above subjects, because they don't care. I work with them every day and they make millions and don't know shit about the world and could never be president. Buying land, building subdivisions and hotels does not take much knowledge. You cannot replace modern social theory with primitive charity (as the RW) wants to do. Romney reads his bible for knowledge and nothing else. That is not enough and I don't want to go down that road with him. Back to the past of feudal lords, peasants and serfs. It was horrible for the masses.

Romney will find his bearings, if he gets to office. The challenger never has as much information as the incumbent on foreign policy. That's significant disadvantage. My concern, MM, is that his bearings lie with the 17 out of 24 FP folk he recruited from Bush W....the MIC is chomping at the bit to go to war......if they do, all financial projections become invalid?
