ggamer,

I don't think there will be anyone afraid to bring something new. Working on and putting out before ready are 2 different things.

Would you prefer that 2 people who were not working out for what ever reason be kept on? I think Tim made the right decision in each case.

I for one applaud him and I think Apple will be a better company and that the workplace will be a healthier place for the whole crew.

Annie

> From now on, I am sure every executive will be nervous when a new product is introduced.

I would not want to invest in a company where the management was so laid back they were not terrified at a new product introduction where billions of dollars of research and development was on the line.

How do you think Ive felt the day the iMac came out?

I don't think this will stifle innovation at all. On the contrary, Ive has some breathing room now I think.

I wonder who at Apple will take any risk and work on something new knowing that your ass will be out of the door the second the find any issue with the product.
I wonder who at Apple could possibly view this situation that way.
