not a sacrifice for the sake of others Interesting thought and all of the libertarian ideals too.. but the real truth IMO is that we are genetically programmed to survive as a species.. like all other species.. the individual really doesn't count in that context.. not even one iota.. it is a nice thought.. like believing in God, Peace on earth and goodwill towards men.. . .. if that were not true we would not be here today dominating the planet.. survival of the species demands it.. if you find yourself floating out in the middle of the ocean.. alone.. you are just food.. that's all.. :o) just rambling in a boring market.. now off to the dump with a decade at least of accumulated crap that was saved of course.. 'just in case' LOL The gift we have is that we can think .. sometime we think too much though but in the end... many serve the few.. so that the few can continue the line.. :O)
