In this context, we are discussing honesty as an aspect of individual thought, ie, in order for our mind to function properly, it needs to consider the whole context of information, if it avoids some of this information (through an act of dishonesty), then it undermines its ability to reach valid conclusions, and hence we undermine our ability to guide our own actions.... yes, historically there have been few societies to recognize individual rights, but this issue of honesty as a virtue applies to an individual, not depending on the social context.... rp

joh.....like all other species.. the individual really doesn't count in that context.. not even one iota..... disagree profoundly with this statement... me thinks that the opposite awareness is coming in on us....the implications of Quantum Mechanics marks for us in the current sense "our initial conditions", here after we are going to be in a race to replace within ourselves, much that we were so certain about, was truly wrong to begin with... Dont blink, the degree of freedoms connections are already established within us...cant and wont be severed or denied, delayed maybe, within some; whose habit of circular reference is overflowing thier own tubs.
