They can't do that on such short notice. Anyway, the ground game is geared to the swing states, not states like NJ.

It would be exceptionally peculiar if NJ swung to Romney due to poor turnout in heavily Democratic areas, MN goes rogue to Romney, but VA, NC and FL go to Obama. And if Obama wins the EC but loses the popular vote due in part, again, to depressed turnout. The wingnuts will tear their hair out about that for sure. But so would Democrats if low turnout due to Sandy somehow swings the EC to Romney.

The EC is an idiotic idea whose time was up in 1787. Those genius founders, lol....

There is very little visible Obama stuff in NJ because it's perceived to be a blue state. My impression is that almost all the NJ Obama organizing is to get out the vote in other states.

As for Christie favoring emails and fax and that being connected to the well off having greater access, I'm only talking motives. It's a good move for his own constituency without favoring the opposing constituency.
