Would it be better for Chris Christie to lose his job or to look in the mirror and ask himself if he is responsible for visiting four more years of economic malaise on the country.

I think Christie may have helped but the real catalyst in my opinion was Sandy. Mitt had momentum and then disaster struck. obama got to play president for a few days and the press genuflected - Bengazi and the election became secondary headlines.

At first I was really pissed at Christie - it was one thing to be thankful and bipartisan but the public lewinsky seemed over the top. In retrospect, I think he was reacting to the devastation and personal loss throughout his state and his motivation was emotional and not political. The timing though couldn't have been worse.
