Someone said evangelicals wouldn't vote for Romney. Just a stab.
Like you I thought we had a clear choice and a good candidate with a track record.
It appears anything like a job or a businessman no longer registers with people. Especially the younger ones. Too far removed from a manufacturing economy. Everything now is government related/nanny stuff. Even young kids have grown up never have mowed a lawn or had a summer job.

I just look at VA and SC and romney got about the same number of votes as McCain with in a few thousand. so who stayed home for Mccain and who stayed home for romney ?

McCain also dissed the tea party if memory serves me. the radio yesterday said the polls where swamped at conservative areas in VA 2-4 hours wait times, it wasn't like that in 08 so why are the numbers the same ??

'lets see what should we put down for romney" " oh the same as Mccain just slightly lower since Obama's will be lower"

The big question is "who stayed home and why?"

go to some of the pro-palin sites and you'll probably find your answer there
