" so am I, I really don't get VA where McCain got more votes than romney. the lines were huge in conservative areas. my sons get mad at me when I bring up conspiracies but I haven't trusted voting for 20 years or more

RE: "very hard for me to believe that Romney got fewer votes than McCain". Repubs are getting older. A lot have died off in the last 4 years and, unlike Dems, dead Repubs don't vote. : ) Seriously, the party is in trouble if it doesn't become more liberal on social issues. I would love to eventually see a fiscally conservative, socially liberal party come about. Until that happens, I have to pick my poison.
