Don't know about the civil war thing but your point about the occasional conservative advances is true. Conservatives are sometimes successfully against the socialist onslaught. Unfortunately, the number of successes on the conservative side brings to mind the old saw about two steps forward, one step back. Only in this case it's more like one step forward 8 steps back... -G

do let's look at history ,and you will see that there are times when all WAS lost,and it was lost because the normal ,regular folks wouldn't see and believe what was actually occurring...and would not act in a cohesive and effective manner... You are already in a civil war and you are losing !!.. 4 years from now all the power apparatus will firmly be in the Socialist hands,and we all will be helpless against it..the IRS,FBI,CIA,Supreme Court,TSA,Homeland Security,and add Healthcare death boards and some things you don't see coming like gas and food rationing and major problems with the monetary system...oh,and control of the Internet and communications,and media.. Friend,it goes on and on..but if you/we can accept blatant voter fraud , having your children groped, having the laws on the books not enforced or selectively enforced, and a president who just voids legal contracts at whim...and appointed Czars who hold entire industries captive with new regulations that they issue as laws..well then we are done for... The first thing is to accept is that you are in a real war, it isn't looking good and it's gonna look a lot worse very soon.. P S,there's a bit more about Executive Orders,some forthcoming treaties, and other stuff but no point in me foaming at the mouth.i have no children and my 2 remaining family members are in their 80's so if anyone cares about what happens then they need to do more than follow a corrupted and failed political system ..my regards to all..
