That's the primary reason Repubs need to stop using their long-time "senior member is the nominee" method for choosing our standard bearer. The person chosen must have charisma along with espousing the most effective economic/cultural policies. It has to be someone who has enough charm to become almost a cult leader. That's the only way to lure necessary votes to win in future.
