Whoopi Goldberg, on the other hand, considers the rape of a child as not being "rape rape". I didn't hear any public outcry about THAT. Remind me, what office was Whoopie running for? She was heavily criticized for that remark she made. It was a stupid comment. Now Polanski was never the same after his wife was murdered like she was. And even if the rumors floating around that she had a "history" and it was consensual, and the medical report indicates it wasn't consensual at all, she was 13 at the time. There are no excuses for what he did.
