Farmboy, just found out tonight that the Federal Government owns all of the military equipment in the States National Guards. INFO came from a full Colonel in the Guard. If this is true the Federal Government can Nationalize the Guard against any State wishing to secede from the union and deny the States any funding for catastrophic situations (tornado, hurricanes, floods, etc.). It would be interesting to see what would happened if a conservative State would try. Can't we see and armed predator drones flying over a State, etc. or cutting out interstate commerce going through a State. Only stupid people would thing of such an event. PS Have any of you done a comparison between the number of Southern Red States with those having a high poverty level and being a "right to work state?"
