Also, though, until these connections, I had no idea of the conflict between the groups, which aren't simply some 'tribal' conflicts. Pashtun and Baloch were taken over by Pakistan and consider themselves occupied. I don't know why I didn't know that or seems to me hardly anyone I know does. For one, puts a whole other spin on things when people there sneer at the U.S. for being imperialist. Pot and kettle and all that. I had no idea either. Wow.... India could make all the difference but that will soooooo piss off Pakistan. Going to be interesting times. Completely agree---I'm delighted that they will get involved and that the Obama administration instead of a Romney admin will be part of it.... I wonder who will replace Hillary?
