I'm not surprised Koan---remember when it was the sign of affluence to bottle feed your baby while the poor folk had to keep breastfeeding----then the studies showed how important mom's nutrients were....

Remember Nestlé deceiving 3rd world country moms to bottle feed their babies?----knowing the water they would make it with was contaminated.

My mom actually made bread of her own until she died last year. While we were growing up(5 of us) she only had the time on the weekends.

Hot out of the oven and then stuffed wwith some feta cheese(Albanian's version of butter) that began to melt before your first bite....

Interesting---this Hostess bankruptsy has been stimulating childhood memories for us. FB was also buzzing with them...

I'm not surprised Koan---remember when it was a sign of affluence and "modernity" to bottle feed your baby while the poor folk had to keep breastfeeding?----then the studies showed how important mom's nutrients were and the pendulum swang back.

Remember Nestlé deceiving 3rd world country moms to bottle feed their babies to emulate western moms?----knowing the water they would make it with was contaminated.

My mom told me how the elite were the only ones able to afford white bread in the old days. The poor had to eat whole grain black bread. But the whole grain is where the vitamins are and so the poor faired better than the rich who developed vitamin deficiency.
