He can't emigrate to NZ if he is older than 55. Plus, he needs to have skills they want.

Where are you going, North or South Island? There is a Mt. Fuji looking volcano on North Island. Not to mention penguin rookeries and a mini-dolphin. Abalone are in shallow water and there are no restrictions on collecting them.
