Re: Thomas Kurlak's prediction of chip industry for the next 1-2 years

I am no overpaid Merril Lynch analyst (i.e. con-artist), (heck I dont even have a degree in rocket science), but I predict that this so called analyst will flip-flop by March 1998 and will have a 180 degree opposite view of what he has now (if not sooner - much much sooner)! So let us mark this post and come back to it at the latest by the end of March 98 and see if my prediction comes true or not!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

From briefing:
Texas Instruments (TXN) 47 5/16 -4 1/2: semiconductor/electronics maker says pricing pressure on chips is only a temporary problem. Expects pressure to continue over the next 2-3 months before recovering; believes that currency crisis in Asia will actually benefit the chip industry, as Korea cuts capacity....

I wonder if the so called analyst Mr. Thomas Kurlak has already felt the taste of his foot in his mouth?!!! However I have a feeling his ego will let him taste it without saying anything till at least March!
