STRZQ ,

I followed Stars Buffet before. It used to pay a nice special divvy. I got out before it started having major financial difficulties. I am sure it is just my biased perception, but it often feels like I see these more after the fact than before (i.e., in this case when it is at 3.00 instead of at 0.09). Maybe it is a mistake, but after the huge run-up I usually don't care so much. The momentum often follows through higher, but I feel like a sap buying after a huge run-up and there typically is greater volatility at that time.

I'll really appreciate hearing from anyone who comes up with these situations before the potential event.

BFCF (and I am sure some others I didn't pay attention to) are an example from gizwick to the contrary (thanks gizwick!).

A followup on my prior post regarding STRZQ.

I found, in a prior filing, they earned 24 cents in FY12, and project EPS of .46,.53,.60 & .68 over the next 4 years.

After that EPS go down because their NOLs run out. to .43 & increasing slightly.

Their EBITDA was $3.1 million last year projected to $3.5 this year and $3.7 in FY14 and 3.77 thereafter.

This has apparently been "out there" for many months to those who bothered to look to the end of that filing. (Not me)

The above projections would suggest that the shares are worth more than $2.66 or whatever the last trade was.

And today, they offically announced their Reorganization Plan Confirmed. My plan is to hold my shares for higher prices, while their prior book value was mostly wiped out by large losses in prior years, Their strategic plan calls for good cash flow going forward.

(Ive never been one to value stocks by inputting cashflow, if anyone has a calculater that would help me it would be appreciated)
