Dear Nilda: I wonder if the news item on the 10,000 employees was misunderstood by the American investment community? The drop in share price seems excessive for the relatively minor downgrade by Roberson Stevens. JDN

Hi Nilda, Thanks for the informative post about the redundancy notice to 10,000 employees. I could find nothing about an impending Ericsson layoff in the Swedish papers. I would guess that the reason for the decline of the stock is a overreaction on the part of Wall Street to the "layoff news". What is surprising is that the stock did not correct on the Stockholm exchange. In my opinion, the price dip represents an outstanding buying opportunity. The 97P/E ratio is now about 26. Leif
