Greetings Glen & all:
Today I attended the Dain Bosworth institutional conference in NYC. Lots to talk about all of it good, but at the moment I need to keep my eye on my so called day job which seems to take alot of my time. Such a distraction. Arrrrrrrgg.

I will try to put a summary together within the next 12-24 hours. However, it is clear to me (FWIW) that todays high volume in ABTX is attributable to the conference. The presention was made by the boss, Johnny Thomas (He da man) and Kent Schultze was with him. His presentation was highly attended (I counted 45) and the breakout meeting was about 12 pm/analyst types. There was no extra room at the table in the breakout meetiing. Again, FWIW, I liked Johnny Thomas right away, and some say I am a hard case. Likewise, Kent Schultze.

Further, at the breakout session, Johnny Thomas said "hi Glen" to a guy. Being a naive dope New Yorker, I thought it was OUR Glen, so I went over and introduced myself to him. Wrongola, turns out that Glen is the ABTX investment banker from Dain. Whatever.

Anything I try to write up will be a summary and will be based on the idea that the reader is already rather familiar with ABTX and has completely read the Nutmeg, Gilford, and Piper recommendations. So I will not start with or go into the basics.

Clearly, there are now 4 strong buy recommendations on ABTX, Dain being the one not (I believe) previously mentioned, at least I was not aware of one from them. FWIW their's is a Strong Buy for agressive accts.

I'll be back as soon as possilbe. Regards Pete

P.S. Although it is possible from a TA perspective that ABTX could back off for a very short period to about 8 and change, however, there is every fundamental reason for that NOT to occur. I wouldn't suggest letting anyone you like being short ABTX or not fully invested. Like the Terminator, "I'll be back".
