Well, as I keep telling you we are not talking about pure socialism. That exists in no democratic country. We are talking about welfare sates which are a combination of socialism and capitalism.

And in a democratic welfare state, policy is what the people say it is.

Can you get that?

as in, If we nationalized the corps for 8 quarters, we'd pay off the debt, at $1.75T/quarter. We could even un-nationalize them after that. The fact that this isn't even a suggestion by any pol, including Bernie Sanders, and prolly the Commie Party of America, (if they still exist) shows just how far we are from socialism.
