>>enough time wasted on this.main reeason for my post was to dispel some myths about marshall and serafino<<

nick, awfully smug of you to give me your Naive Unsophisticated Investor 101 course...I guess that's why your condescension is truly laughable...making your pedantic dictums. You put a lot of qualifiers on your statements not because of who you're talking to but who you are presenting yourself as, you gotta it right with the CYA, standard stock broker issue. As far as insecurities go, what I find amusing is a so-called professional lecturing such a nonsophisticated novice investor...who are you kidding? >>enough time wasted on this, ...I'm done responding now though...<< Like I said before I hope you feel a lot better now. Hope that fact that I don't take to being summarily dismissed affects your insecurities....

Nick, Betty has been more willing than many to listen to the comments of shorts (certainly more than me). Not that I am persuaded now because I am not. Not really.(Even if I do listen) You might think this is from the peanut gallery as you say but you have engaged in many personal attacks. Serafino, Barker and so on. YOur post seems to imply than when you decided that Barker was being coy that was time to pack the bags. Lights out. We should all have left the company to file for bankcruptcy. Well the thing is if you are wrong then your posts are very irresponsible because you frame them as a done deal. ie Nobody wants this thing. That would make you the other side of the coin of those you criticize. I wonder if you have even taken the time to ask the resellers for yourself. After all this is what Serafino suggested we try. Please do so. I do not think that resellers have an incentive to lie. Whether the present situation is due to strategic and systematic organized selling or failure of BT remains to be seen. How much longer do we have to wait? Not much. I do believe that by next earnings we will be much closer to be in a position to decide unambiguously. I sincerely hope that if you turn out to be wrong you will turn all this righteous indignation towards yourself instead of others. We shall see.

This is what I think will happen. By next earnings you (along with techteam, drakes et al) will be a bit surprised. Earnings after that quite surprised (hey this thing can sell after all). Earnings after that very surprised. If it turns out so I do hope you will come back re-read your posts and then decide whether the tone was appropriate. Foolish or not I decided to send an e-mail to Barker today thanking him for his efforts and encouraging him to keep up the fight. I remain satisfied that this product has a market. Obviously I realize that DR needs to make an effort to reach the investment community. As soon as they have sales to report they will be in a much better position to do that. Once that happens I am willing to bet that many will be willing to switch sides again. In the meantime I wait patiently. By next earnings report I will reconsider my position. My expectation at this time is that it is altogether possible that I will buy more.

all imo
Ignacio

ps Get off Serafino's case before you really know if the info was good.
