Jan,
I have wondered too about the absence of any formal statement from
S3 about meaningful changes in its operations. I would hope we will
see clarification on the revenue recognition issue since that....

In ref to #8101, I too am wondering why no comments by SIII. Possiblities:
1)Big product announcement coming that negates any reason to respond to lawsuits/restatement of A/R.
2)Duh.

Whadya think?

Jan,

Last week in either WSJ or IBD I thought I noticed a headline saying something about Cirrus Logic closing its graphics division.

Have you heard anything like this or am I losing my mind?

Thanks!

Jan,

Thanks for your response.

With all the downgrades, I'm seeing a higher likelihood of S3 under $6. If that happens (given the present uncertainties of the chip market) it would seem speculative to buy back in even at those levels...or am I missing something here?

S3's tight lipped PR is maddening. I can't understand this. What's happend to them with their surreptitious management style now appears prophetic and richly deserved.

Onward,

George
