If it saves money overall I'm for it. If it doesn't, I'm not. I would like to see less money spent on the aged and more spent on the young. Our society, at this point in time, is prioritizing it's spending in ways that annoy me.

Raising the Medicare age will make Medicare costs worse, not better. It would be better lower to age to 63, get more healthy people paying premiums.

Yep. If I weren't busy with other stuff today, I would do the internet search for the citations. But it's observed frequently.

Best way to lower Medicare costs is to permit Medicare to bargain for drug costs.
