Hi Jim, In the past I always had a great deal of respect for Teck, I've done consulting with them (in the past), however this whole area play is beginning to look like one big promo with nothing of substance. Just look at the enjoyment that the sleazy VSE brokers have had with all these South VB companies, the've made all kinds of commission money in a dead market by resurrecting a ghost (an Elvis Presley look alike trick) and Teck has obviously gone along with all this crap. If this turns out to be correct then the VSE should investigate every participant (banning any further trading etc by them) until a conclusion is reached. What bothers me is that this whole thing is beginning to smell with a lot of people/brokers/companies in the know, unlike Bre-x where very few were in the know. By the way I believe all the SVB companies are involved in this, I think that Donner/Teck just gave an air of credibility to the whole play seeing as they had not been fingered in any prior scams. And guess what, it was all intended to part the small investor from his money. regards, Terence Mitchell

Jim: Methinks we'll now the answer to what's over in the VB if and when they announce a winter drill program... That will be all the indication that we will need... The expenses soar for a winter drill program so hopefully they find something that will warrant further drilling...I don't think they will pee away anymore good money after bad, if there is nothing there... IMO, these guy's are keeping their mouths shut...and the drill sites are tighter than ------ (whatever)... Another week or so and the saga may be over... Until next year... No news is bad news for these puppy's and the volumes are typical of any stock that heads downhill on no news...DML traded some pretty good volumes for about 6 trading days at the 1.50 level on expected news releases (around 2.5 million shares)... No news brought it down to the 1.25 and up level for another couple of days... no news... 1.00 and up level for another 2 or 3 days... No news... Breaks the dollar level today... No news... We are gonna start seeing a herd effect happening here real soon... People are gonna start bailin' out as soon as they pick up the papers in the morning... It's gonna be called preservation of capital, tax loss sales, etc..etc..etc... Whatever. She's gonna go lower IMO... If they announce a winter drill program there is gonna be some trading a happenin'... I'm stayin' long with what I got and am gonna try and seize the opportunity of a "dead cat bounce", if there is one... ...ed
