I own KRFT, CVX and OHI. I don't wish to own GE, but any of them, including GE, make sense from a dividend investor point of view.

I used to own KFT and sold it when they purchased Cadbury and then froze the dividend. The CEO was more into empire building than sharing profits. She really changed a culture I felt comfortable with.

When I found out the company was splitting up, I was hoping she would go with the candy side. She did. Percy and I celebrated and I got back into KRFT.

The new CEO of KRFT has been reported as saying they want to focus on what they give back to the share owner. I think the forward yield is a testimony to that. He also said they want to maintain a 70% pay out ratio. I really like that. That's a commitment to the dividend.

Of course I am a GE bull.(truth be told, my largest position). I don't believe it gets the fan fare(love) it deserves. And not to go un-noticed should be the dividend growth since the recent big bang.
