Hello Margaret: What is ATP? Unfortunately, I was very busy on a project today and had no time to post any warnings to hold off buying Intc for a day or two. You may recall the other day I mentioned that TXN was taking on a fairly GHASTLY appearance technically along with AMAT and INTC, that's why I was relieved about yesterdays rally. But Intel's inablity to even challenge the critical area of 82 I mentioned yesterday, its lack of followthrough and its misbehaviour today is troublesome, although I was encouraged by the flip up near the close. I'm not quite ready to write INTC off just yet, in fact I would view any recovery and especially a close or two back over 80 as potentially very bullish. It looks unlikely at the moment that this will occur, but the strong action in the Dow blue chips if it continues may be enough to drag the tech sector higher in some areas.
The odds of Naz going to new highs anytime soon look remote just now.
