Individuals get caught, gaoled and executed. Governments do not. Governments all pass plundering laws to rob, by law, people who produce value. State serfs are like cows being milked, and sheep being fleeced. Some governments go to such an extreme that they enforce Godwin's Law and send humans to extermination camps, robbing the victims of everything, including the gold in their teeth and hair from their heads.

Many people who love Big Brother can't see the difference between government plundering and private robbery.

Strangely, democracies have almost universally voted like turkeys for more Xmas and Thanksgiving.
