Nicely put, Sam, but that not only doesn't address the Conn shootings, it simply drops the issue of trying to control guns in general. I have no idea whether specific legislation could reduce the number of Conn type shootings. I do know there are more than a few measures that could be put in place to reduce the availability of guns and hopefully, keep a few out of the hands of those who should not have them. I also read the Japanese material and liked it. And doubt we could get there. But it's a terrific standard to keep in mind. So I would like to see it as part of the conversation which says we could try to do that well.
