"I heard events for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained were cancelled because of the shootings in CT."

Burn Hollywood to the ground....that's where the problem started in the first place

This kid should have been terminated as the Devils offspring the moment he popped out from that whore of a mother

This little piggy too

and this neanderthal

AND THIS AMERICAN ICON......SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABORTED ON HIS FIRST BREATH

We have become a culture of violence........unrelenting and unnecessary violence.
What does this mean, this "culture of violence"?

Never mind. It means nothing. Have a nice day.

hear it all the time, yet it's rarely defined by those who rail against it.

What in our culture encourages said violence? Is it the individualism? The "I gotta get my respect by any means necessary" culture?

How about the violent video games and movies? I heard events for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained were cancelled because of the shootings in CT.

What about the fact that children today can't tell the difference between right and wrong? Maybe all of this "truth is relative" nonsense pushed by post-modern "progressives" is coming back to bite society in the ass.

This is probably the time to pray for our nation. Don't like prayer, especially in our schools? Then come up with another solution that saves us from ourselves.

Less guns. Less easy access to guns.

So many factors...ethnic heterogeneity, perpetual state of war, poverty, inner city blight, violence on TV, cinema, videogames...and guns...lack of uniformity around the nation regarding permitting, the types available, ease of availability, lack of required training and education, you name it...there's a lot that can be done short of banning guns to educate those who wish to own them...just the sheer number of guns works ups the odds in cases like the one in CT, and a messed up regulatory process makes it easier for people to shoot one another on the streets of our cities...

I don't even know what this means.

Security and education....parental and children. Guns are not necessarily bad...some guns are unnecessary in society and owning the ones permitted is an awesome responsibility that comes with some regulations/restrictions and a solemn understanding that they can be used to hurt people and therefore should be handled accordingly.

My neighbor is a gun fanatic. His two children walk around his property (few acres) with guns and no supervision. I am terrified that they will accidentally shoot in the direction of my house and hit a window....guess what...there's nothing I can do. It's legal...one example of gun culture and NRA complicity.

Consider this ad and the message it conveys....just an example....do you suppose that anyone fails their "manhood" test?

Al

============================================================================

...visitors of bushmaster.com will have to prove they're a man by answering a series of manhood questions. Upon successful completion, they will be issued a temporary Man Card to proudly display to friends and family. The Man Card is valid for one year. Visitors can also call into question or even revoke the Man Card of friends they feel have betrayed their manhood. The man in question will then have to defend himself, and their Man Card, by answering a series of questions geared towards proving indeed, they are worthy of retaining their card.

well.....there's moments like this.........tragically, it takes only one very disturbed individual to turn a joyous incantation into a mournful dirge
