When two thirds of the population is considered to be obese by the AMA, you know that we have become a country of excesses. It used to be that the fat guy was said to have a "thyroid or metabolism problem". Now, I think we all recognize he just eats too much and gets too little exercise. We are all making very bad choices in this country, choices based on a mentality of excess and hedonism. It's time we all grow up a bit and start living within our means across all spectra of life's choices.
