Tons of wealthy people have NO PROBLEM paying higher taxes (obviously, just read the news)... nypost.com Hey, nothing has stopped you from paying higher taxes before. If you feel so strongly about increasing your tax liability "to support the system", then one has to ask "WHY YOU DIDN"T DO IT BEFORE"? When you file your 2012 returns, just reduce your amount of legitimate deductions by 30%. The IRS has no problem if you "under-report deductions" By under-reporting deductions you will be increasing you tax liability, and therefore "supporting the system" as you desire. So the question to be asked is.... Why haven't you been doing this already? I just love the Liberals who point to Nordic Countries that they claim have a better lifestyle with "larger safety nets" and Socialist leanings. For instance Finland with a massive population of 5.4 million reports to have a illegal immigrant population of almost 9,000. LOL!! In the US, we've had 9,000 illegals entering in A WEEK. In the US, once they arrive on our soil, the Government rolls out the social services, education, health care at Emergency Rooms, etc. I think you will find the "social service safety nets" that are "rolled out" to illegals in Finland are not as "enriching".
