I am well acquainted with the concept of globalism. The current crop of globalists that are noticeable appear to be pro central government socialists. Groups like the Flemish Bilderberg Group and in the US the Bohemian Grove Society are the ones that get talked about.

There are some internationalist traders that eschew nationalism. If those are what you have in mind, then I agree with you that it is a good movement. The first group want to extend the yoke of tyranny worldwide, with themselves starring as the tyrants.

Compare the US to the Roman Empire. We are well past the peak of productivity and motivation. Now there are more takes than makers who voted in the last election.

For the US to ever succeed on the world stage again it would require a fundamental reset of attitudes. More people would have to look to their own efforts for their prosperity than to government. Right now the majority of voters want more free stuff and send the bill to the rich guys.

Smart people are nationalistic when it is appropriate and individualistic when appropriate. I have always been nationalistic, proud to be an American. For the first time in my life I am ashamed of the guy who is occupying the Whitehouse. Even Jimmy Carter was better than Obama. Carter is solely responsible for the fall of the Shah and the rise of muslim radical control in Iran. Obama owns the fall of Mubarek and the radicalism of Egypt, Lybia, Syria, Tunesia, etc. By the time Obama is gone Jordan will probably have fallen to radical elements.
