I have recently learned the correct term for weather prognosticators. They call themselves Weather Reporters, meteorologists, etc. I call them weather guessers.

In anything which involves projecting unpredictable events into the future, the longer the projection the more uncertainty is involved. If a weather guesser can't guess tomorrow correctly more than occasionally, why should we believe that people whose funding is increased when fear is stoked could predict the weather decades into the future?

The great thing is that while the US goes down the toilet I have enough money to move to a more hospitable business climate. You can bet that the weather won't by my first priority. San Diego has the best weather in the US, but a person has to subject themselves to California taxes.
