The main reason the republican majority in the house was returned is because of gerrymandering. The way they are playing it now on the fiscal cliff will probably LOSE them their majority in 2014. I DO agree that they've GOT to make some MAJOR cuts to government. The democrats are MORONS in that regard. They don't even want to cut the colas for recipients of Soc. Sec. BOTH parties are IDIOTS. That's NOT to say that we aren't going to need more revenues TOO. We have an ARROGANCE in the U.S. that leads us to believe we can do whatever we want and it will work out because we are so superior. The Romans had that same problem. Then the Spanish had that problem. Then the British had that problem. Then the Germans had that problem. Then the Japanese had that problem.
