Isn't that the same guy that said Nate Silver's predictions for the election were absurd? MOST people don't really follow all the in's and out's of politics, but even the fellow on the street has a pretty good idea that it's the republicans that have been intransigent on raising taxes even on billionaires and that's what has been holding things up even when MOST of the country thinks them folks should be paying higher taxes. If things come out badly on this the republicans will OWN IT.... Boehner may not have to worry about his speakership after 2014. He may no longer be in congress....
