I added to a position when AAPL was at 506 and change - it was morning here, probably early afternoon on the East Coast.

Our self-managed portfolios have gone from 100% Apple in January to 66% dividend position this year - AAPL shares are about 7% of the divvy portfolio (21 divvy positions total). Another triple digit annual gain, and I imagine the last one given our shift.

I am delighted with the year :-)

I can't tell by the words on the page (read that as a forum being very one dimensional) if that is more of a sarcastic reply to my strategy or what I write about Apple or if it's a genuine curiosity about my style. I always give the benefit of the doubt so I'll assume the latter.
As the moderator here, I must say that I appreciate your taking the high road by assuming good intentions. I also found the rest of your post to be as enlightening as always. I'm glad you're here.

You assumed correctly.
From your profile: Investment Style: Trader by nature, long term holder by necessity
From my profile: Investment Style: Long Term, but if it doubles by next week, I'll take it!

As you can see, we are pretty much opposites, so it was with curiosity that I (and I assume the six people
who added their "Recs") posed the questions as to how those differences in AAPL positions was working
out for you. Many thanx for your reply.
