This one should arrive next week - FN SCAR 17S 7.62x51mm NATO aka .308 If you had to recommend one non handgun for home defense, what would it be? I have several hunting weapons (Browning <sweet 16> semi auto 5 shotgun in 16 gauge, several 12 and 16 gauge side by side doubles, a sporterized Mauser 98... 8mm, an OLD Savage Model 99 in 30-30, and several 22 cal rifles. As it stands now, I'd probably use the Browning in a home defense situation.
