Sorry but you're a mental midget debating/insulting epicure.

I am an elitist. Absolutely true. Unlike republicans, I think elite is great. Why wouldn't one aspire to be the best? Now you sound like a wing nut, not liking elitists, Koan...

;-)

Obviously your kid is elite too. Your kid wouldn't have gotten in to Cal if she didn't have scores the equal of mine- right? What kind of scores did your kid get on those elitist standardized tests? But our kids didn't get to be elite on their own. They had us behind them. Unless, of course, you don't think your kid had an advantage having you as a parent. But I bet you do. At heart, you're an elitist too- that's why you're proud your kid went to Cal. And good for you. And good for her. And yes, you ARE a better parent than a crack whore, and don't be ashamed to say it.

I have a lot of experience with the not best, and the not brightest- and there is a huge difference between them, and the best and the brightest. You can say you don't see a difference, but I don't believe you. And no one who works those areas would believe you. I'm not sure why you think it's important to distort the truth like this, but it's certainly not working for me.
