when i was 12-13 yrs old i lived in a small town in Tennessee where everyone grew up hunting... so i went hunting a few times on my own and finally killed my first rabbit and first squirrel,, thankfully one of my uncles showed me how to clean it after nailing the carcass to a tree, ripping the skin off... i have absolutely no problem with this kind of food stalking, if you eat what you kill it is pretty much normal nature as it is... never went deer hunting but i sure did enjoy some nice venison a few times... when i was younger, maybe about 8 or 9 i remember my fascination with wanting to kill a bird with my crossman beebee gun... well one day i finally did and it was amazing how disappointed i was with my "kill"... because i only wanted to kill it for the sake of killing it... but i guess i had to get it out of my system... the older i get i find i respect more and more all life forms, although i still despise mosquitoes and roaches and i will smush or swat them without a second thought
