“Explain to me how that is any different than taking the word of ancient pedophiles that they were doing the boys they abused a big favor by using them for sex.”

Firstly, you deliberately conflate pedophilia with pederasty. As I have taught you, even your professional photographer, Enid (who dapples in psychoanalysis as a sideline to supplement her tarot) has stated:

“Modern scholars have tended to accept without question or doubt the assertions of ancient pederasts that their activities were beneficial to boys.”

And as the symposium makes clear:

"the universal sentiment is simply in favor of these connections, and no one, whether young or old, has anything to say to their discredit”

So no harm, no foul, Kiddo!

In the case of Sandusky we have a tried and convicted criminal who was convicted because everyone had plenty to say to his discredit and his immoral behaviour.

Pederasty epitomised the moral good in Greece for approx. 1000 years. In modern society it is still constrained by moral parameters, but the age restrictions are more defined than they were in Greece where paternal approval was the salient feature of consent. Sandusky apparently acted without the legal consent of his partners and he is therefore correctly condemned as immoral and as a criminal.
