“Sandusky clearly falls within your definition of a pederast”

"I have not studied him."

You just had to watch the news.

"Sandusky was IMMORAL and broke the law."

How is Sandusky, who did exactly the same thing as Solon, immoral while Solon, who did exactly the same thing as Sandusky, the most moral person to have ever lived?

The only difference is the Law. But didn't Solon make the laws?

"what EVERYBODY was doing was sanctioned and considered moral!"

If Sandusky and his pederast friends made the Laws then Sandusky would be a hero like Solon, right?

<“Of course the real scandal at Penn State was Precisely that so many people knew exactly what Sandusky was doing but remained silent”>

"Sometimes people are complicit in immorality--agreed."

That's exactly why no one complained in ancient Greece as well
