Hi Irby & All: I just had to cough up the entrance fee to this forum to tell you all how I took you advice to heart about not carrying a stock overnight. I was short COMS Tuesday and decided late in the day to heed your counsel and not be greedy and take my profits rather than risk a reverse gap overnight. Sob. Actually, had I heard you earlier--about three months ago when I started short-term trading, I would be in a far better position and not have lost half my money so far. However, I've learned a lot and and am hopeful I will absorb a lot from this lively group. I'm pretty good and picking a move and getting in at a good time; it's selecting the exit that's been problem.
