there was the original iPhone,

Relying on my fuzzy memory, I think the original iPhone had an aluminum back. I remember being disappointed to discover that the second generation, the 3G, had a plastic back.

iTunes 1.0 was released for Mac OS 9.0.4 (9.1 was recommended and 9.0 wouldn't run it) at Macworld
