The form of the governmental/economic system we currently have (modified capitalism democracy) is already a wealth redistribution system.


And here I thought our government was a constitutional republic whose constitution doesn't say a damn thing about wealth redistribution.

What we have morphed into is a society where 50% of the voting population casts their lot towards candidates that give them free stuff which is paid for by 40% of the voters which vote the other way.

Eventually something will give... Won't be pretty IMO.

Maybe we will revert to the vision our founders provided in our constitution. That vision is not what the left wants.
