Of course its supremacy in smartphones has slipped. Does anybody actually doubt that?

"Apple is working on a lower-end iPhone, according to people briefed on the matter, a big shift in corporate strategy as its supremacy in smartphones has slipped."
Sounds like more FUD to drive the price of Apple shares down.

The goal of Apple when it originally launched the iPhone was to get a 1% Market share and if they did that Steve said they would have accomplished a lot.

I think Apple has captured more than a 1% Market share with the iPhone and the rest is just Wall Street and Talking Head crap.

The stock is getting fairly oversold and sooner or later it will find an end to the selling.
