I'm actually in favor of more gun restrictions. No good reason why high-capacity magazines shouldn't be strictly regulated, for instance.

The way I see it, though, gun restrictions after the fact are a lot like the TSA. Nothing will ever beat private citizens defending themselves, either from an assailant or from a group of hijackers.
