but when people start talking as if democracy hinges on the unrestricted right to bear arms, that's when my loon radar starts going off. Of course it seems far fetched - but history is full of examples. Recent rapid break downs in society like Katrina or LA Riots should give you pause to understand it's possible - but remote. The founding fathers did not create the 2nd amendment to annoy liberals or encourage school shootings. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
